This is a well constructed and packaged anti-tremor device. Its humming sound is a little noisy at about 60dB, and you will notice a little weight on your hand. But, it is NOT uncomfortable if the supplied padding is utilized, or too noisy to be overly distracting. That being said, it did not improve my tremors enough because I have more severe tremors in both hands than this unit is designed for handling.
I just thought, 'what do I have to lose', since every other device for tremors is so ridiculously overpriced!
IT DID lesson my severe tremors to more moderate modulations but I still could not write legibly or use my computer keyboard or mouse more effectively. It did help some with using a fork and spoon, but not as much with a glass while dining.
If you happen to have MILD to Moderate tremor, then I would definitely try this device!
Well-made device but my tremor was not abated by the device.
Hi Daniel and readers of reviews- A strong Yes from me. I have suffered with 2 types of tremor (cerebral and essential) for the last 10-12 years- I have M.S. and had back surgery (neck C-5, C-6) 10 years ago. The Decrescendo Tremor Device works for me- I am a professional Jazz Pianist/Cello player so my hand's and fingers have to be pretty darned articulate! The Gyroscope plus weight of the device both contribute to it's efficacy. I am not sure in what relative proportions but would guess about 80-20??
It's actually fun to play again but I still make mistakes (way less!) which keeps my ego in check-
Thanks Daniel. Hats off to you (Fanfare..)! Readers who are sufferers- give this device a shot. Chances are (in my opinion) that it will work. Small price to pay relative to Probability (my opinion) that it will work.
A little bit of improvement! I think it is because of the weight of the device, not
It seems to be helpful using my mouse. However, still can not wear it very long due to the pain. I’ve loosened the straps as much as possible but it still hurts.
I'm glad to hear the device seems to be helpful, but I'm so sorry it has been painful! This is actually a very easy fix. First, you can try adding additional foam pads to the underside of the device, which are included in the small baggy in the device set. Simply peel the adhesive backing and apply them over the pads that are currently there. If that still isn't helping, we also offer a larger tremor device cushion in our online catalog, which replaces the foam pads and definitely will make it comfortable for you. It's best to only add as much cushion as you need for comfort because if there is too much cushion, the forces from the device will work to compress the cushion instead of stabilizing the hand. I'll send you a tremor device cushion free of charge to try out in case the additional foam pads aren't cutting it for you. I'll email you shortly with the tracking information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING: This device is only for Parkinsonian and essential tremors that primarily start in the hand. This typically involves a hand twisting motion or the hand going up and down by bending at the wrist. If the forearm, arm, or shoulder has a tremor that is causing the hand to move, the device will likely not be helpful. The right hand device only helps with right hand tremors and the left hand device only helps with left hand tremors.

After graduating medical school, I worked as a deep brain stimulation (DBS) research scientist in Silicon Valley instead of going to residency. I developed and wrote patents on new implantable neurotechnologies and a tremor clinical study I wrote is currently ongoing. As exciting as it was developing new implantable treatment options for tremor, I was frustrated by how few patients can receive these therapies because of insurance hurdles and having to wait for advanced disease progression.
I started Baldoni Neuromodulation to get more neuromodulation therapies to more people through a non-invasive approach. My goal is to provide the most innovative therapies for people with tremor and other neurological conditions. I am excited to share our new Decrescendo tremor device line to hopefully reach more people than DBS. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
